Linen Care Instructions

Stain Removal
Use a clean, moist cloth to dab liquid stains immediately. Use a blunt knife to scratch off any dirt that flakes off. Rinse the stain from underneath with running water. Soak the textile in cold water to remove the stain. If the stain cannot be removed, rub some enzyme containing liquid detergent and continue soaking. Rub the stain lightly every now and then.
Spray stain remover on any old/deep-seated stains and let it take effect according to the instructions on the packaging. Wash according to care instructions. Difficult stains can be washed using 80 degree washing cycle. White linen textiles may be bleached using chlorine bleach. Follow the instructions on the packaging.

100% linen
Wash linen textiles in plenty of water separate from other washing, in 40 degrees using a gentle washing cycle. Do not spin or tumble-dry linen textiles. Reshape whilst damp (stretch evenly lengthwise). Line dry in room temperature as linen should not be dried too fast. If it gets completely dry, spray it with water, roll it and put it into a plastic bag for several hours until the moisture has seeped evenly into the fibre. Iron or mangle the textile in the direction of the warp. 100% linen shrinks about 7 % in the first wash.

Half Linen(50%linen/50%cotton)
Wash textiles made of cotton-linen union in a plenty of water separate from other washing in 40 degrees. Avoid hard spinning and reshape (stretch evenly lengthwise) whilst damp. Do not tumble-dry. Iron or mangle when still damp. Half linen shrinks about 5% in the first wash.

Cotton Textiles
Wash cotton textiles in a plenty of water in 60 degrees using a slow cycle. Avoid spinning since this will crease the fabric. Reshape textiles when wet. This is particularly important for cotton tablerunners and placemats, which should be streched in the centre - NOT FROM THE SIDES. Iron or mangle when damp. Cotton textiles shrink about 10% in the first wash.

Linen Terry
Wash new linen terry textiles before use. Wash in 40 degrees, in plenty of water and separate from other laundry. Do not use fabric conditioner. Use a light spin and reshape the textiles whilst damp. Linen fibres come off during the couple of first washes, so make sure you clean the lint trap afterwards. Linen terry shrinks about 10% in the first wash.

Sauna Pillow
Handwash in 40 degrees or clean with shower after use. Hang up to dry. Do not tumble-dry. Since filling is fast drying polystyrene grain, keep it away from the hot stove. And, please, do not sleep in the hot sauna!

Cotton Throws
Can be dry-cleaned. Machine wash in max. 40 degrees in plenty of water. Can be tumble-dried at a lower temperature setting. Iron max 200 degrees.

Woollen Throws – Pure New Wool
Woollen throws can be dry-cleaned or hand-washed in 30 degrees. Wash the throw in plenty of water. Use mild detergent suitable for wool and let it dissolve completely before adding the throw. Wash the throw by squeezing lightly – do not rub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze most of the water out. Press the throw between towels until half-dry. Dry the throw in an airy space. No tumble-drying. Iron throw when damp or through a damp cloth, max 150degrees.
